This policy describes how FamilyGo HK handles information. FamilyGo HK is not a government service.

Summary

  • No account or sign-in.
  • Child nickname, age, favourites and district stamps stay on your device.
  • No child tracking and no public child profiles.
  • Weather, AQHI and (optional) signed holiday updates use public network endpoints without creating a profile on our servers.
  • After a short free allowance, free users may see non-personalized ads (AdMob). Family Plus or the one-time Remove Ads purchase turns ads off.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details.

Advertising

When ads are shown, we request non-personalized inventory (including child-directed / under-age-of-consent flags where applicable). We do not use the App Tracking Transparency / IDFA prompt for behavioural tracking. You can remove ads via Family Plus or Remove Ads in Settings.

Data stored on your device

FamilyGo HK may store locally (for example in Apple UserDefaults):

  • Child profiles: nickname and age only (intended ages 3–12)
  • Favourite activities and visited / district-stamp state
  • Workweek preferences used by the leave optimizer
  • Cached holiday dataset metadata and condition timestamps

We do not ask for birthday, school, photos, precise location, or public child identity. Deleting the app removes on-device data (subject to iOS backups you control).

Network requests

The app may contact:

  • Hong Kong Observatory / DATA.GOV.HK style open-data endpoints for current weather
  • Official AQHI JSON feeds (median across stations shown in-app)
  • An optional signed holiday update endpoint (when configured); updates fail closed without a valid signature

These requests are for displaying public information in the app. They are not used to build an advertising profile.

Purchases

Optional Family Plus auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly and annual) and an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase use Apple StoreKit / In-App Purchase. Apple processes payment and subscription status. Family Plus renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Calendar

If you choose to export an activity or leave plan, FamilyGo HK requests write-only calendar access to create events you initiate. Calendar contents are not uploaded to us.

Children

The app is designed for parents and caregivers. We do not operate public child profiles, social feeds, or child messaging. Minimal child-related fields stay on-device.

Third-party services

The free version may load Google AdMob for non-personalized ads after the free allowance. Purchases are handled by Apple. We do not ship a separate analytics or crash reporting SDK for building advertising profiles of children.

Not a government service

FamilyGo HK is an independent app. Official holiday, weather and facility references are attributed in-app with sources and timestamps where applicable. App-made classifications (for example rainy-day fit or stroller-friendly) are labelled as such.

廣告

儲存在裝置嘅資料

FamilyGo HK 可能喺本機儲存（例如 Apple UserDefaults）：

  • 收藏活動同已到訪／地區印章狀態
  • 拼假引擎用嘅工作週偏好
  • 假期資料集同狀況時間戳快取

我哋唔會要求生日、學校、相片、精確位置或公開兒童身份。刪除 App 會移除本機資料（視乎你控制嘅 iOS 備份）。

網絡請求

應用可能聯絡：

  • 天文台／DATA.GOV.HK 類型開放數據端點（天氣）
  • 官方 AQHI JSON（應用顯示全港站點中位數）
  • 可選經簽署嘅假期更新端點（如已設定）；簽名無效則失敗關閉

呢啲請求用嚟喺應用內顯示公開資訊，唔會用嚟建立廣告檔案。

購買

可選 Family Plus 自動續訂訂閱（月費／年費）同一次過「移除廣告」購買，由 Apple StoreKit／App 內購買處理。Family Plus 會自動續訂，除非你喺週期結束前至少 24 小時喺「設定 → Apple ID → 訂閱項目」取消。詳情請睇 使用條款。

日曆

若你選擇匯出活動或拼假計劃，FamilyGo HK 會要求只寫入日曆權限，以建立你主動發起嘅事件。日曆內容唔會上傳俾我哋。

兒童

應用為家長同照顧者而設。我哋唔營運公開小朋友檔案、社交動態或兒童訊息。最少量嘅小朋友相關欄位只留喺裝置。

第三方服務

免費版喺免費額度之後可能載入 Google AdMob 非個人化廣告。購買由 Apple 處理。我哋唔會為咗建立兒童廣告檔案而額外加入分析或崩潰報告 SDK。

並非政府服務

FamilyGo HK 係獨立產品。官方假期、天氣同設施參考會喺應用內標示來源同時間戳。App 自行分類（例如雨天適合、嬰兒車較方便）會清楚標示。
