FieldGauge is an offline-first engineer toolkit for phones. Measure, log and convert on device — without sending sensor data to the cloud. Use illuminance and exposure helpers (lux, EV100, shutter/aperture/ISO), level, slope and compass, a vibration analyzer, sound and frequency tools, environment sensors when fitted, on-device OCR for meters and nameplates, plus a screen ruler and engineering unit converter. Sensors are checked at runtime; missing hardware is marked as not fitted. Export a local CSV measurement log when you choose. Phone sensors vary by model and are not certified instruments — calibrate against a traceable reference before professional, regulatory or safety-critical use. Free with optional ads; a one-time purchase can remove them.
