Utility Vault: All-in-One Kit · MR IU PING CHUNG · June 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to Utility Vault: All-in-One Kit ("the App"), published by Mr. Iu Ping Chung. Utility Vault is designed to work without an account. Most data stays on your device. We do not operate a backend that stores your scans, recordings, translations, or documents.

Data stored on your device

The App may save items you create or receive locally on your phone, including: QR and barcode scan results; scanned documents and exported PDFs; translation history and TTS items; voice recordings and related transcripts or notes; text received through the local Wi-Fi transfer feature; and device health snapshots shown in the dashboard.

You can copy, share, or delete saved items from within the App. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored App data from your device.

Permissions

The App requests access only when needed for specific features: Camera — QR/barcode scanning and document capture; Microphone — voice recording; Storage / media — saving PDFs, audio, and shared files; Network / Wi-Fi — local text transfer between devices on the same network and optional online translation or TTS services where enabled.

If you deny a permission, the related feature may not work until you grant it in system settings.

Local Wi-Fi text transfer

When you use local Wi-Fi transfer, text is exchanged directly between your phone and another device on the same Wi-Fi network using a session PIN. This data is not uploaded to our servers.

Advertising

The free version of the App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interaction data, and similar information to serve and measure ads. You can review Google's practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy .

You may purchase a one-time in-app option to remove ads. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we do not receive your payment card details.

Analytics and crash reporting

We may use standard platform or third-party SDKs to understand crashes and basic usage. If present, these services collect technical information such as device model, OS version, and crash logs. We use this information only to keep the App stable.

How we use information

We use information to provide App features you choose to use, display and measure advertising in the free version, process optional in-app purchases through the app stores, and improve reliability and fix bugs. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We do not share content you create in the App with third parties except: when you explicitly choose to share via system share sheets or exports; with service providers that help deliver ads, billing, or crash reporting as described above; or when required by law.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security and your choices

Because most data remains on your device, you control access through your phone's lock screen and permissions. Local Wi-Fi sessions use a PIN shown in the App for that session only.

You can delete saved records inside the App, revoke permissions in system settings, remove ads with the optional one-time purchase, and reset ad personalisation through your device's ad settings.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
