SIM Vault collects nothing, transmits nothing to us or to anyone else on the internet, and has no servers. Android package: com.ithongkong.simcard2excel. iOS App Store id 6789926243.
What the app stores, and where
Contact snapshots you create are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They are excluded from Google/iCloud system backups.
SIM and network details (Android) are displayed on screen only and are never stored or transmitted. The app has no accounts, analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting.
Device-to-device transfer
When you start a transfer yourself, the app opens one direct, end-to-end encrypted connection (ECDH P-256, AES-256-GCM) between your two devices over your own Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Data goes from one of your devices to the other — no relay, no server, no copy held by us.
Permissions
Contacts: listing, backing up and restoring contacts you choose — never uploaded.
Phone (Android): showing carrier/network details on the SIM screen. Bluetooth (Android): Android-to-Android transfers you start. Local network (iOS): finding your other device running SIM Vault.
Data deletion and children
Delete any snapshot in the app, or uninstall the app — all app data is removed with it. There is nothing to delete on any server.
SIM Vault does not collect data from anyone, including children.
