Privacy Policy

Recorder+ · MOBPAGE HOLDINGS LIMITED · 3 November 2026

This policy describes how Recorder+ for Android (package org.mobpage.recorderplus) handles information. For privacy questions or requests, contact the developer at goodapp2b@gmail.com.

Recordings and transcripts

Recorder+ accesses the microphone when you choose to record and grant microphone permission. It can continue recording in the background or when the screen is locked. Supported versions can show a notification that lets you control the recording. You can revoke microphone or notification permissions in Android settings, although doing so may limit these features.

Recordings, recording details and transcripts are stored on your device. When you use offline transcription, the app processes audio on the device; it does not send the audio to a transcription service. Recordings may contain sensitive information, including other people’s voices. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permission to record or share them.

If you use Share or Save a copy, you choose the receiving app or storage location. The receiving service’s privacy practices apply to that copy. Depending on your Android backup settings, eligible app data, including recordings stored in app storage, may also be included in a device backup. Removing the app generally removes its app-owned recordings and transcripts, but separately exported copies, backups and older recordings stored outside the app may remain. Delete those copies separately if you no longer want them.

Transcription model download

If you choose offline transcription and the model is not installed, the app downloads the model and related files from Hugging Face over HTTPS. Hugging Face and its delivery providers receive the network request, which includes information such as your IP address and request details. The download does not include your recording or transcript. See https://huggingface.co/privacy.

Advertising and privacy choices

The free version uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google and its advertising partners may collect and use information such as IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and advertising identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic information to provide and measure advertising, prevent fraud and support related services. Whether personalised ads are available and what information is used can depend on your location, choices and device settings. See https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Where applicable, supported versions may show a privacy message before requesting ads. In versions and regions where privacy options are available, you can revisit your choice using Privacy options in the app menu. You may also reset or delete the advertising ID, or change advertising settings, through your Android device settings. You can purchase the optional remove-ads product through Google Play.

Purchases

Google Play processes optional purchases and provides the app with purchase information needed to verify or restore the remove-ads entitlement. We do not receive your payment card details through the app. Google handles billing information under its own privacy policy.

Other network requests and support

If you open the app’s promotion or more-apps feature, it may request a list of apps and images from the developer’s service or the image hosts. Those servers may receive your IP address and ordinary request information. Some legacy promotion requests use HTTP rather than HTTPS.

If you choose Contact us, the app prepares an email in your chosen email app. The draft includes device model, manufacturer, Android device identifier, app version and remove-ads status; you can review and edit it before sending. We receive the information and return address you choose to send and use it to respond and troubleshoot.

Retention, security and your choices

The app retains recordings and local data until you delete them or remove the app, subject to the separate copies and backups described above. Advertising, billing, model-download and other service providers handle their information under their own policies. We use the information you send to support for responding and troubleshooting, and retain it as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations. No transmission or storage method is completely secure; protect your device and take care when sharing recordings.

You can delete recordings in the app, manage copies and backups through their respective locations, control Android permissions and advertising settings, and contact us about privacy requests. Available rights and options depend on your location and the data involved. Requests about data held independently by Google, Hugging Face or another recipient may need to be directed to that provider.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app or its data practices change. The date above indicates the latest update. Contact: goodapp2b@gmail.com.
