Find a Spot ("the app", also known as 搵位 – 香港咪錶泊車位即時地圖) shows live Hong Kong on-street meter parking on a map. We do not require an account. Your location is used on your device for the map and nearby-bay features and is not sent to us. Third-party processing is limited to the public open-data feed and the advertising SDK described below.
Location and on-device data
Device location: used only on your phone to show your position on the map, find nearby free bays, run Parking God Tool, and navigate back to where you parked. Location is not uploaded to servers operated by us.
Saved parking spot and meter reminders: stored locally on your device.
Vacancy pattern estimates ("smart vacancy"): learned and calculated on your device only and are not uploaded to us.
Parking data from open government sources
Live meter occupancy comes from Transport Department / DATA.GOV.HK (or successor official feeds). The app downloads public parking status to display on the map. That feed is public open data, not personal information about you. If data is stale, the app aims to make that clear so you are not guided by outdated status.
What we do not collect
We do not require sign-in. We do not operate a backend that stores your location history, driving routes, or parking spots. We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version may show ads using Google AdMob. To serve ads, the AdMob SDK may process device and usage information under Google's terms — including advertising identifiers where applicable, approximate location from IP address, and ad-interaction or diagnostic data. Where required, a consent form (Google UMP) may be shown before ads load.

Purchases
One-time purchases (such as Parking God Tool top-ups and Remove Ads) are processed by Apple App Store billing (or the applicable store on your platform). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Children
Find a Spot is intended for drivers and general adult use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and deletion
Local preferences, saved parking spots and on-device vacancy learning stay on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing app data. For advertising data held by Google, use your device's privacy and ad settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at the same URL.
