FamilyGo HK (放電地圖; bundle org.mobpage.hkholidaycalendar) helps Hong Kong families plan outings and public-holiday leave. There is no account or sign-in. Child nicknames, ages, favourites, and district stamps stay on your device. FamilyGo HK is not a government service.
Information stored on your device
FamilyGo HK may store locally: child profiles with nickname and age only (intended ages 3–12), favourite activities, visited or district-stamp state, workweek preferences for the leave optimizer, and cached holiday or condition metadata.
We do not ask for birthday, school, photos, precise location permission, or a public child identity. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes on-device information (subject to backups you control).
Network requests
The app may contact Hong Kong Observatory / DATA.GOV.HK-style open-data endpoints for weather, official AQHI feeds (median across stations shown in-app), and an optional signed holiday update endpoint when configured.
These requests display public information in the app. They are not used to build an advertising profile on our servers.
Advertising
After a short free allowance, free users may see non-personalized ads (for example via Google AdMob). Where legally required, a consent message may be shown.
You can turn ads off with Family Plus or an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase.
Purchases
Optional Family Plus auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly product org.mobpage.hkholidaycalendar.plus.month and annual product org.mobpage.hkholidaycalendar.plus.annual) and an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase are processed by Apple App Store (StoreKit). We do not receive or store your payment-card details.
Family Plus renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Use Restore Purchases after reinstalling or switching devices. Full auto-renewal terms are in the Terms of Use at /apps/familygo/terms.
Calendar
If you choose to export an activity or leave plan, FamilyGo HK may request write-only calendar access to create events you initiate. Calendar contents are not uploaded to us.
Children and disclosures
The app is designed for parents and caregivers. We do not operate public child profiles, social feeds, or child messaging. Minimal child-related fields stay on-device.
Official holiday, weather, and facility references are attributed in-app. Labels such as rainy-day fit or stroller-friendly are app classifications, not government claims. Map pins are approximate.
