When you use the tuner, EZ Tuner accesses the microphone to detect pitch in real time using on-device algorithms (including YIN pitch detection). Audio is processed ephemerally on your device for tuning feedback, string detection, and related practice features.

Microphone audio is never recorded to storage, never uploaded to our servers, and never shared with us for analysis. If you deny microphone permission, tuning features that need the mic will not work until you grant it in system settings.

App preferences (instrument, tuning mode, A4 calibration, metronome settings, and similar) and purchase ownership flags are stored locally on your device.

Session stats shown in the app (such as time in tune) are computed and kept on your device only.

The free version may show ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may process advertising identifiers and related technical information under Google's terms — see https://policies.google.com/privacy .

Where required, a consent form (Google UMP) may be shown before personalized or non-personalized ads load. You can remove ads permanently with a one-time in-app purchase.

Remove Ads and other one-time purchases are processed by Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. The app only stores that the purchase is owned so ads stay off. Existing Remove Ads purchases from earlier versions are honored.

We do not sell your personal information. The only third parties typically involved are Google AdMob (ads) and Google Play / Apple (purchases). Your microphone audio is never shared with anyone — including us.

EZ Tuner is rated for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).
