Eye Comfort Quest is designed to work without an account or network service. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data and includes no advertising, analytics, third-party tracking, social SDK, or backend service.
Information stored on your device
The app stores settings and game progress locally, including XP, streaks, break counts, focus minutes, badges, recent daily history, and an active focus-session timer. This information is used only to operate the app.
You can erase this information with Reset all progress in Settings or by uninstalling the app. On iOS, the app and widget share local progress through Apple App Groups.
Permissions
Notifications are used only for locally scheduled break and focus-session reminders.
On Android, the optional Display over other apps permission shows a transparent, non-touchable warm comfort tint. A foreground service keeps the visibly enabled tint active. The app never inspects, captures, or records screen content.
Health information and disclaimer
The app does not access Health Connect, HealthKit, medical records, sensors, or other health-data services.
Eye Comfort Quest is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. For persistent discomfort, pain, or vision changes, consult a qualified eye-care professional.
Children
The app is a general-audience wellness utility and is not directed specifically to children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
