English News Reader · MR IU PING CHUNG · July 31, 2026

English News Reader does not require an account. Bookmarks, saved words, reading preferences, and alarm settings stay on your device. News headlines are aggregated from third-party publishers. The free version may show Google AdMob ads after a welcome period; you can decline personalized advertising and still use every feature.

Information stored on your device

Bookmarks, vocabulary lists, language and region preferences, alarm and notification settings, and Remove Ads entitlement flags are stored locally on your device.

You can remove this information by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

News content and third-party publishers

The app displays news aggregated from third-party sources. We do not create or own the news content shown.

Articles, headlines, images, and related materials remain the property of their respective publishers. Opening an original publisher link may subject you to that publisher’s privacy practices.

Advertising and consent

Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Before ads load, you are asked for advertising consent where required. You can decline and keep using every feature of the app. Settings → Privacy choices lets you reopen the consent form.

Google may process advertising identifiers, approximate location inferred from IP, device information, and ad interactions under Google’s privacy policy.

Purchases and platform services

Optional Remove Ads purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Text-to-speech uses voices already installed on your device. On-device AI features, where available, run locally and do not require an account.

Children and contact

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
