This Privacy Policy explains how EasyScanner ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. EasyScanner is published by IGEARS Technology Limited — iOS bundle org.mobpage.EasyScanner; Android package org.mobpage.easyscanner. In short: scans and OCR run on your device. Document images and recognized text are not uploaded by EasyScanner. There is no account or sign-in.
Documents stay on your device
EasyScanner processes scans and OCR on your device using Apple VisionKit and Vision. Document images, recognized text, titles, tags, classifications, summaries, and document Q&A (where available) are stored in local app storage and are not uploaded by EasyScanner to our servers.
You can delete documents inside the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored EasyScanner data from your device. You may choose to share exports (PDF, text, or images) through the system share sheet — only when you decide.
Permissions
Camera — used to capture document pages when you scan.
Photo library — used when you import photos into EasyScanner.
If you deny a permission, the related feature may not work until you grant it in system settings.
On-device AI and organization
Suggested titles, categories, keywords, language detection, and sensitive-data warnings are computed on your device. On supported Apple Intelligence devices, private on-device summaries and document Q&A may be available; other scanner features work without that capability.
Advertising (free version)
Your first 10 successful document creations are ad-free. After that, the free version may show ads through Google AdMob when a network connection and consent allow. AdMob may collect device identifiers and related ad data under Google’s policies — see https://policies.google.com/privacy .
Where required, Google’s UMP consent framework may be shown. You can permanently remove ads with the one-time “Remove Ads Forever” in-app purchase.
Purchases
The Remove Ads Forever purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. The app stores a local entitlement so ads stay off.
Children
EasyScanner is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or on our listing.
