Privacy Policy
Easy Attend for Android · MR IU PING CHUNG · MobPage · October 25, 2026
This policy covers the updated Android app Easy Attend (package hk.com.igears.easyattend), published by MR IU PING CHUNG. It explains the information stored on your device and the information sent when you use exports, optional API connections or Google advertising.
Summary
- No account is required. Attendance is stored locally on your device.
- You choose when to export a file or send reviewed records to your configured API.
- Google advertising services process device and ad-related information as described below.
Local attendance records
Group names, member names, attendance dates and present or not marked marks are stored in a SQLite database in the app’s private storage on your Android device. The core attendance features work offline and do not require an account.
We do not run an attendance account or cloud storage service for these records. The app does not send your roster to us for analytics or advertising. The Android app does not include a separate first-party analytics or telemetry service; Google’s advertising measurement is described below.
CSV exports you choose
When you export attendance, the app creates a CSV report containing the selected attendance data. You decide where to save or share that file using Android’s available apps and destinations. The recipient or storage service you choose can then process its contents under its own terms and privacy practices.
Exported copies are separate from the app’s local database. Deleting a member, group or the app does not delete files you have already saved or shared elsewhere.
Optional connections to your own API
You may enter an HTTPS endpoint and an optional bearer token for a service you choose. A connection test contacts that endpoint and sends the configured bearer token, if present, but does not send attendance records. The endpoint also receives ordinary network information, such as your IP address.
An attendance send happens only after you review and confirm a selected group and day. The app sends a JSON POST directly to that endpoint, including the group name, attendance date, member names, present or not marked values and a generated request identifier. The configured bearer token is included in the request when present. There is no scheduled background attendance sync.
The receiving organisation or service controls what happens to data it receives, including retention and deletion. Ask that recipient about its policy. The API feature treats the reply as a result message; it does not install plugins, run returned scripts or accept remote commands.
Saved API credentials and security
The endpoint URL is kept in the app’s private settings. A saved bearer token is encrypted using a key held in Android Keystore. You can clear the API configuration in the app. Network requests to your configured endpoint use HTTPS, and the app does not follow redirects for these requests.
Private app storage and encrypted credentials help protect the data, but they are not a substitute for securing your device and the receiving system. Attendance exports are ordinary CSV files rather than encrypted backups.
Google advertising and privacy choices
Easy Attend uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for applicable privacy choices. Google may process your IP address and approximate location derived from it, device or account identifiers (including advertising and app identifiers where available), ad and app interactions, and diagnostic or performance information to provide and measure ads and prevent misuse. Advertising data is sent using encrypted connections.
UMP checks which consent or privacy messages apply. Where available, use the app’s Privacy choices control to review or change your choices. You can also manage the advertising ID in Android settings. Google’s policies explain its processing, retention and available controls. We do not provide your attendance names or records to the ad SDK.
Retention and deletion
Local attendance remains until you delete it. Deleting a member or group also removes its related attendance history in the app. Clearing Easy Attend’s app data in Android settings or uninstalling the app removes its local records and saved settings. Export any records you need before doing so.
Files you exported, records received by your configured API, information in support emails and Google advertising information have separate retention rules. Delete exported files where you saved them, contact the API recipient about its copies, and use Google’s published controls for its information. Contact us about support correspondence or other privacy requests.
Adult organisers and roster information
Easy Attend is intended for adult organisers managing attendance for their groups or organisations. It is not a child-directed app. An organiser should enter and share roster information only when entitled to do so, and should consider the needs of the people on the list before exporting it or sending it to another service.
Support and policy changes
If you email us, we receive the contact details and information you include so that we can respond. Please do not send attendance lists, API tokens or other unnecessary personal information in a support request.
We may revise this policy when the app’s handling of information changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. This app policy describes the Android app; the MobPage website has its own privacy policy.
