Privacy Policy

Clipboard content: Clip reads the current clipboard only when you take a clear action — open Clip in the foreground, use the Quick Settings tile / Control Center / Shortcuts, use Paste or “Save current clipboard”, or share content into Clip. Clip does not attempt background clipboard reading.

Items you share into Clip: when you choose Clip from the system share sheet, Clip receives and saves the text, photo, video, audio, or file you shared — only on your device.

Text clips you save, media you share into Clip, app settings, favorites, and a local usage counter (to decide when the free ad-free period ends) are held in Clip's private storage on your device.

This information is never sent to us or anyone else, and is removed when you delete the clip or uninstall the app.

Clip uses Google AdMob to show ads after a 10-use ad-free period. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID and coarse technical information used to serve and measure ads. See https://policies.google.com/privacy .

Where required (e.g. EEA/UK), the app asks for your consent choice via Google's UMP framework. On iOS, ads are non-personalized only — Clip does not request App Tracking Transparency or use the IDFA. You can remove ads permanently with a one-time purchase.

If you buy the remove-ads unlock, payment is handled by Google Play or the App Store; we do not receive or store your card details. The app only stores the fact that the purchase is owned, to keep ads turned off.

We do not sell your personal information. The only third parties involved are Google AdMob (ads) and Google Play Billing / Apple StoreKit (purchases). Your clipboard content is never shared with anyone — including us.

Clip is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

We may update this policy; we will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or on our listing.
